    Hi there,

    I recently tried some much better hardware for rfactor 2 and moved to nv 780

    Using only isi content, but it doesn't matter :)

    Any spray generated had strong shadow casts from fences through it, this shouldn't happen outside. In real life there would be too much ambient light to notice this.

    This effect only should happen in situations where;

    1. Ambient light is reduced to near none
    2. Light entering the area is focused e.g. via a small aperture
    3. The item causing the shadow cast is near or at the focal point
    4. There are particles to reflect the light

    Which is a shame. Everything else looked good but this detracts from the experience.

    It was Monaco so there were quite a few fences to make this happen ;)

    Btw the sim looks awesome all turned up :)

    Well it looks nicer in the latest 494 build, the build up and slight bluish tint is looking great.

    The initial point for generating the smoke is improved.

    The density of light smoke is great as above so is the build up.

    Have yet to try the rain spray but I hear from Ari that he feels it is much better.

    Good work guys :)
