Does a photo is the reality? Nope. A photo can be too exposed, maybe under a full sunlight, can be bad balanced in colors and histogram etc.....just to say a photo is no a synonymy of perfect reference. Everything in gfx needs some calibration.
True, but this is my photo, I did that and I know that place very well, it's 200m from my house and I can compare my photos to real life very easily ...maybe not today, we have currently strong winter in Poland I mean that this grass looks very close to what I saw that day.
This looks mighty impressive, one of my fav tracks from rF, I've run many long races round here just love it. Wish I had the skills & time. Keep up the good work.
I don't think one could ever get grass color agreeable to everyone. One can stand in ones own yard and look in 4 different directions and the colors will be different. You've got temperature, direction of sun, wet weather, dry weather, even surrounding terrain, tree and building colors will influence grass color. You add monitor calibration variances and its a total crap shoot. If a track builder chooses a grass he or she thinks is right, I will accept it. There will be at least one day in the year it will probably match.
Looking great Mario, them ai sure have nervous feet! I always get a kick out of 'em. Track is going well!
Great Mario A lot of turns are squarish are you going to fix it? looking forward to drive it anyway squarish or not
For now i don't change geometry only textures and shaders. I and more vertices in road. But some turns needs more yes..
Lienz and real road, that should stop some of the suicides that used to ocur lol...looking sweet Mario, can't wait.
i'm not looking forward to pinball alley! Many of my races ended in those barriers or off the mountain
Pinball alley is one of the most sweat inducing sections of any track,..the commitment level in qually or racing is huge but pays dividends when you nail it, man, i need my fix lol
