Hello Gent's I am trying to kill one bird with one post Where is the location of the license info for RF 2 and RF 1 on the comp. I upgraded to a bigger hard drive and upgraded to win 7 64 bit. I still have access to the old drive with the info but having trouble finding the files. Help please Ruben M.
The rFactor2 folder you're looking for is named ".rFactor". You should be searching for a folder called "Trymedia" for your rFactor 1 license. If you haven't enabled searching hidden folders then you won't find either one.
rFactor2 and probably rF1 (new install): "C:\Users\WindowsUserName\AppData\Roaming\.rFactor" (AppData is a hidden folder). rFactor1 Trymedia: "C:\ProgramData\Trymedia"
Thanks Got RF 2 installed and activated But RF1 is not letting me activate it wont go online to put in code. Not sure why I am online and gave it online accsess in firewall. Ruben
