I bought the lifetime membership in the first stage of the beta and used rF2 without issue. This week I reformatted my pc and reinstalled rF2 from build69 and now when I enter my login details and select "reactivate" it says "License Not Found" and everything is grayed out so I cannot use rF2.
Did you get an answer to this issue? I have been waiting for over a month and still have not gotten a resolution.
Have you contacted support? http://rfactor.net/web/contact/ The forum is an occasional visit for the staff when they have time and for them to read bug reports and act on them at development pace, if you need product support for a non-gameplay issue, contact product support.
Yes, I got an answer. They were very quick to reply and fixed the problem from their end. I can race again! Email customer support.
Per your recommendation almost 3 weeks ago, I did. I never received a reply to that email, onto further PM's to you about that lack of response. So knowing that, what do I do now? Lose the 3 hours spent installing, configuring and trying options seen online, try again with latest version, which based on the original post from this thread will not work, and then email support again. I am anxious to try it on my new system, but this is a lot of effort for something that multiple posts say has been fixed. Again, no offense, but how hard is it to re-download a beta license that is tied to a user/pw combination that you have stored, and easy DB lookup from my IT viewpoint. Other things causing same issue have been fixed, but multiple things can (or used to) cause this. I'm sure you will get a response.
Sorry for reopening the topic... Could anyone help me? I purchased a lifetime license, usually installed in the first time. After awhile, I had to format my pc and did not return to install it. Now I tried to install on Saturday and says that my license was canceled. I wonder what happened ... I sent a PM to Gjon, but got no answer. Thanks from now. Rafael David.
