    Does anybody knows if can I use stolen ISI cars (e.g. models from Portugal track) for rF2 mods? I'm putting them in the Le Mans parks and service areas but not sure if it's legal.

    If even a paid track like Gingerman in the end got permission then your free track certainly won't be a problem.

    IIRC Tim or Luc got us permission to use such stuff some years ago. Best is to just ask one of them directly.

    I think ISI's point is that if they don't want you to use it, they will encrypt it.

    Ok, I'm using ISI files and sending a PM to Devs just in case.

    Tested some laps today, surfaces are ok, rF2 FFB on 3D kerbs and bumps is really something. Now I'm putting the buildings (not placed yet) and start to model trees, posts and implementing fences. Last step will be fine tuning of textures and material properties (have to learn a lot about reflections and etc)

    You can use in-game ISI assets (like textures) without special permission for modding.
