just guessing but anything to do with Can Am? Did they all win Can Am championships and race at Watkins Glen ? havent got a clue really lol. Just wanted to be part of the gang lol.
I'm going with 1966 Riverside because it's the only place I can find Mario Andretti and Phil Hill racing in the same race along with those other guys. http://www.racingsportscars.com/results/Riverside-1966-10-30.html Hopefully we get some Can Am cars to go with it.
I appreciate that, thanks With only a few hints remaining, we might have the board cleared this weekend. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far, with the hints and possible solutions, and general speculation and interest. For anyone without a theory so far, I guess its about time to make up some BS and post it. Remember, the more absurd, the better. And an extra congratulations for the most absurd/convoluted but still correct theory
Okay... It's something VLM has had in the works, also for rF2. They probably got occupied and saw that you skillfully got the Reiza Suzuka into rF2, so they offered you to finish up their Glen. Theory enough for you?
Thanks, that's pretty good, and thanks for the compliment But you don't refer to the puzzle at all, so there is room for someone to gazump you in the convolutions. But good use of outside-puzzle details. But maybe you're holding back on some supposed secret meaning in the puzzle images. Perhaps that's a wise move, so you can gazump someone else later. Or maybe you don't care about being absurd?
We'll see how foolish I look when you finally unveil this... It's just the obvious choice / reason for me. Low hanging fruit, you know
Well, just for the hell of it, I'll have a crack. Mont Tremblant. Struggling with getting Andretti into the link, but I'm sure he's raced there and won something. I mean, he's raced everywhere else and won! *Edit* Indycar...of course... twice!
post 2 updated with the eighth half-hint Only three to go now. Get those theories in, no matter how far-fetched
This suddenly came to me whilst I was changing a bulb this morning. The last letter of all their first and last names is an anagram of: Yell Lemons Ninny Thunderhill Raceway Park! The answer has been screaming at us all along! 24 Hours of Lemons (this is assuming the last two frames stay blank)
Well my turn, Woochoo's been around here for a long time. Def long enough to read all the complaints about no career mode in rF2. As you can all see the drivers in the hint pictures are all from the sameera, an era when drivers would spend a lot of time together outside of the race track. As you can also see all the drivers are inside of a big rectangle. And so it's pretty clear that what we have here is Woocho's swimming pool mod, where drivers can relax and unwind before or after a race. I also hope you dont' mind i post a hint pic before you do Sir Stirling Moss getting a call that Woochoo is almost done. TK
some good stuff there. makes good sense. i may or may not have had to change one of the remaining two hints... post 2 updated with ninth/penultimate half-hint
