[WIP] Le Grand Circuit 1967 (in association with VLM)

Hi woochoo,
What an amazing track and to think it is only on version 0.50 !
I did some running with the Porsche 917 and was wondering, do you know of any other cars of this time period to add to the race ?
I see APEX were working on a Ferrari 512s in December but cannot find anything new about this project.
The track would be amazing with Historix !

I think the ISI/s397 Howston G4 and G6, and their Cobra are about the only ones available at the moment. There are some modders/content creators working on new cars, as well as Apex, but so far there isn't much, and nothing like the full HistorX mod :(

Had a 24hrs over and hour and a half last night on SiG Racing and had a problem with the pits. First stop went fine as planned second stop it didn't register me being in the pit lane so I'm guessing I missed the "entrance" second time around? I need to go back and check what the entrance looks like but it might be worth making it clear where the pit entrance is and you can't pull over into your pit box last thing.

All assuming my guess is correct?

Fantastic track and will def race here again. The atmosphere racing Lola's down the Mulsanne in the dark with lights ahead of you picking out trees on either side of the track is brilliant.

The pit in line is just before the concrete fence on the right of the track, which is on the outside of the final corner of the short circuit. I'm fairly confident the car needs to go through that 'gate' before doing a pitstop. I think you'll also need to request a stop before the line too, if you didn't. It's probably possible it's a game bug too, but it might not be

I will change the entry line to be level with the start of the solid pit lane line

Pit had been requested so I had red box and arrows but it wouldn't recognise is was in the pit lane so I guessed I had missed the entrance.
 
I just realized I never downloaded this track. I guess I would look at this thread at work and forget when I got home so I got it this morning. It took a couple laps and it started looking a little familiar. Then the name hit me.
I'm so slow!!:p

Wow!! What a brilliant track build!!

I'm going to have to watch some videos in that time.
 
I've just discovered that a beta version of this track was released :confused:.
What a great job, the track is very pleasant to drive, great ambiance with the sun lights, good AI and FPS even with 50 cars.
Thanks a lot for sharing it.
 
Anymore updates to come for this very nice track ?, gotta love driving the 917K round this place.
