Hello, I'm rather new to RF2 and I'm on DX11 open-beta for VR. Yesterday I've bought my first content from the workshop (not via Steam client, but from browser): Nurburgring, Endurance Pack and Aston Martin Vantage GTE. The items were correctly downloaded from Steam but now, when I start RF2 the laucher opens a pop-up and hangs there until I forcefully close it with Task Manager. I checked with Windows Resource Monitor, the launcher task is almost idling: no CPU time nor disk usage. I tried deleting the "workshop" folder under steam directory, but, after downloading the content again, the problem arose again. I even unsuscribed all RF2 workshop subscriptions in Steam Client but still no-luck.
I've said it before, and it's probably too late to bother, but there needs to be a way to alert users of old builds that they're out of date. Old information (like "VR in rF2 requires the beta version") doesn't disappear on the internet, evidently. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/no-beta-tutorial.62566/
LOL! What a n00b I'm! I found out beta is not needed for VR from this issue with the workshop. :O Thanks everybody for the answers.
