Hello @Marcel Offermans .
This message has nothing to do with the roadmap, but it is the most appropriate place to ask my question (I think).
You have released an update of the performance, which I expected a lot, and I thank you for it.
Unfortunately, on my aging PC but not at all bad because allowing for example to use Assetto Corsa almost in ultra in perfect fluidity, the performance improvement was too low (for my hardware).
By cons, the approach to make this update of the performance is absolutely excellent !!!
I very much hope that you will do an update of this type again, or any other approach to further improve performance.
Would you kindly inform us about what is planned for the next 6 months (the period is relative) with regard to improving performance ?
It would be really appreciable !
Thank you very much
why compare with iracing or assetto which has nothing in real time, a static sky, a static road, static tracks, minimal physics (tyre)...in short nothing to see!I think this is becomming very important, each day we are getting closer to the competition infraestruture launch, and the risk of ppl can't play on hugh online endurance grids is real.
I raced in the 24h of nurburgring in iracing, with a grid of 52 cars, lost only 10 fps. From 120fps alone in the track to 110fps.
I've a gtx970 and i5 4690.
I cant see It working on rf2.

Reduce your graphic settings & enjoy the rich high end physics & ffb of rfactor2
Further optimisations & usual hardware advancements + user hardware upgrades will remedy
I’m getting by on my sandy bridge cpu in vr
Win win
noIsn't that simple, have you ever tried to do a standing start offline with 40 cars, rain and night?

Is this some kind of joke? nobody is able to say how the dynamics of the tracks not even the dev lol iracing is the only "sim" or one makes better times with the tires and cold track that gommé and hot...of alieurs has you already seen temperatures other than 20° or 45° in this game? There's only one tire... soft?medium?long?medium? one shot it lasts 8 minutes another 45 minutes... short...Road and track isn't static on iRacing, indeed the particle system is better than rf2.

In the other points you're correct.
Anyway it's an important point that i'm bringing here, i just already seeing the amount of ppl that will not adopt the competition infrastructure due to performance issues.
iRacing already announced the day/night transitions with a tech video, probably online in the end of this year, maybe the rF2 competition infrastructure is already being born dead.
At video setup DONT set GPU to Auto.My configs... I'm able to race in any conditions with 60fps locked (because of v-sync). without stutter and so...
My Specs are: i5-7400 / GTX 1060 6GB / 8GB RAM DDR4 (Run in a single screen, full hd 23")

At video setup DONT set GPU to Auto.
choose your grafic card
NOT Auto
If your resolution is 1680x1050 then technically that isn't Full HD.(Run in a single screen, full hd 23")
If you only have one graphics card installed and your motherboard doesn't have onboard video or it is disabled in bios, I don't think Auto will make a difference. At video setup DONT set GPU to Auto.
choose your grafic card
NOT Auto
rF2ReplayOffice is quite simple to use. What was used to make overlay video ?
