Thanks friend ... that was the problem the game was updated but not the pack ...
Any updates on this?
Yes, we had some internal discussions about the dirtmap in its current state and felt that to make it available for modders we still needed to make a few changes. So my earlier statement that we would make it available soon was a bit too optimistic, as we want to make sure we get it right before everybody starts using it. At this point I don't have an exact ETA, but unfortunately it will be a bit longer. The upside is, it will also be better!
Your request for info worked , so can you ask if there's any info on the Ui ? lol
Let's wait for the next roadmap... I want new UI so bad, but one thing i'm sure, i want an incredible UI, not a rushed one, so i'll wait patiently...
There is no chance of that
When i say "rushed" what i mean is that i don't want them to release a alpha/beta/whatever incomplete bugged version due to the pressure of the community...
Has someone already explained for what the dirt map is?
I guess I missed sonething.
I suppose that is the dirt pickup in the car, like iRacing already have. More you race, more the car gets dirty.
Think it's something like if you go off it drags shit across the track
That's part of why I'm waiting for the info we expected some weeks after Sebring
More likely to be dirt on the track, which presumably might start to kick up when driven over but should at least become somewhat visible on the track over time. The way it builds up and how variable it might be is all speculation, but the fact it's talked about as a 'map' sounds similar to the puddle maps, which are set by the track maker (as a track-wide image, as far as I've seen, so not necessarily related to geometry and potentially not very good resolution on a large track like Targa Florio) so probably not dynamic in placement. Also unlikely you could drag dirt onto the track. All speculation still.
I don't follow , did I edit some posts ?
@2ndLastJedi If you click the red up arrow of your quote you can see what he's referring to. Which is where you quoted a single word. It also has a red arrow, so it's easy to see what the actual quote was.
I don't see the issue. It's not like actually changing what was said, or taking a word out of context (and reinterpreting it).
Yes @2ndLastJedi, don't do what @Louis did but doesn't want done.
I didnt edit someone's post then hey I just quoting the words needed for my point . Its not like i changed the context or order of words to make them say something they didn't .
Thanks for your reply and understanding what I did wasn't editing their post but rather quoting relevant words .
@2ndLastJedi I was going to 'quote' Christopher saying that you were going to be banned for improper quoting, but I thought that would definitely be crossing a line so I cancelled it
Haha that would be good one
Can you link me to were it says you can't quote only parts of a quote ? I didn't even realise I was doing something wrong !
Separate names with a comma.
