Latest Roadmap Update - January 2018!!!

It will be hard to use the shown HUD with my DK2 glasses and I also expected a bit more info about new UI that was under testing for some months already.

Very nice to hear about performance improvement. The kart collaboration and rF2 being included in other reaching platforms sounds promising as well. I would love to see rF2 tire model working with a scripted dirt terrain.

Regarding the LS track I officially request a thread like the one @woochoo did for LM.

Just one point on the fuel indicator on the new HUD - it says it shows "fuel left and fuel used on last lap" but the popular DX9 plugins like VHUD and TrackMap also showed number of laps remaining calculated from those figures. The SimHQ custom HUD which a lot of people use right now in DX11 also has this - it's a much more useful reference when driving than trying to calculate how many times 1.47 divides into 33.82 in your head!!

Sounding promising.

But 395 Pounds...... Floored me!
I read the 20 Euro part and was..... "iRacing anyone" but then that 395 number and, well I'm out.

Laser Scan insta buy.
The kart add on is also an insta buy if it drives differently from the current free karts wich are fun for cardio but a little strange.

There are interesting things in this roadmap, especially the Karts and the new direction towards the laser scanned (finally!).

However, concerning the performance aspect of RF2, which is the most urgent aspect, I do not have the information I would have liked.

Today, relatively weak PCs have to choose between :

Rain/wet road VS playing with AI.

Because these two aspects are ultra poorly optimized.

If S397 concentrates in part the top, on both aspects at once, ALL users will be able to have fun with a very good performance simulation, acceptable graphics, ultra realistic and in normal race conditions (rain, AI, any time of the day) .

Really happy with this thing with KartSim.

For the HUD, it will be necessary to propose numerous "configurations": some users for example want the least information on the screen to keep a realistic image, keeping only the major information.

I would imagine the amount of HUD info will be selectable just as it is now with key strokes

Can't wait for the LIDAR tracks to start coming to RF2! I'd love to see Sebring recreated with that sort of accuracy!

Also, awesome to hear that you are "hiring" third parties to help developing new content!

I know Race Sim Studio is testing their GT Pack in RF 2, so it should be a good start! A game like this needs some almighty GT1 cars!

395 Pounds for a professional testing simulation that will be used by professional karters. Certainly NOT regular sim-racers.
20ish pounds for a 3rd party add-on that will work within the rF2 enviroment. There is no requirement to purchase either.
I'm not into Karts but anything that will add to S397's efforts to improve rF2 ... I'm all aboard.

Great news all round I'd say.
What I would like out of the HUD would be the possibility to turn the DeltaBest off and on with a key binding. Sometimes it's just annoying/distracting in race, but fine in qually and practice (most of the time).
With the gear/speed can it be made to have the sizes reversed, not all cars have a pitlane limiter so your speed is far more important than the gear your in.

Am I right that it is 560.60 in us dollars?
For a carting mod, what am I missing ?
