Would be cool to know what the devs consider "Low end Gpu" maybe something like gtx1060 6gb or rx580 8gb?
Today i made some test with 19 Ai (megane trophy)
I have an R9 380 4 gb, and from what i can see in the graph with CTRL-f, it's very difficult to not exceed that 4 gb in 1080. Depending on video setting the amount of vram used (virmem in the graph right?) goes from 3900 to 5100 and the bar on the top left it's full white, i have a single green flash under the white bar on the grid when the race start, so i think no stuttering during the race if the bar dont flash, I need to find the right balance of setting that let me to stay into the 4gb but without having pixelated texture everywhere...I remember a string in the PLR that modify opponent detail without kill texture resolution or something similar..i need to google again
Another strange things is that gputweak show a different memory consuption than the ingame graph..i will put some screen
Meanwhile your graphics board can render 20 AIs in Project Cars 2 with much better visuals, go figure.I have a 1050ti and I was recommended to use 6 visible ai cars by Marcel on discord.![]()
if it had good ai i would.. look i bought both project cars, so I'm a fool really lolWould you really pay the subscription price to race ai offline though
It shouldn't be a problem while you can increase your VRAM up to 3x your physical RAM size, or maybe I'm wrong?rF2 drops frames by half once the VRAM is exceeded. Problem is that rF2 does not free VRAM from background tasks as well as other games, so even a couple of browser tabs running in background (which can easily consume 500+ MB VRAM) will add up as it will be counted against the total VRAM ceiling. A 1050 Ti should work well with more than 6 cars provided that you use PCI-E 3.0.

v-syncs disabled
But they decrease FPSWhy Video and GPU sync are working fine?
But they decrease FPS
Ok but I believe stonec was giving advice how to avoid frame drops.Obviously they do but they give stabil FPS with no micro stutters, stutters and tearing especially if you have 120 or 144 hz monitor.
specific build thread.
