Thanks for the update, had a quick play and the Rain effects are very good and the performance with a load of AI on a couple of tracks was perfectly fine (currently running Flat Screen but will return to VR sometime tomorrow).
Especially like the Fogging at the bottom of the Windscreen (Bentley), nice touch!

Thanks for this great update! I assume the recommended settings are for a 1080p resolution? It would also be nice to post recommended settings here for VR (Oculus Rift) to achieve 90 FPS.

Everyone asking about "do I need to beta" - No you don't.
The new build (also numbered 1109 - why??) is installed by Steam automatically, you literally do not have to do anything to be on the latest build.

Ok.... THANK YOU STUDIO 397, REALLY TRANK YOU, NOW I WENT FROM 60 STABLE FPS TO 20 TOTALLY UNPLAYABLE FPS. NOW I AM RETIRING FROM ALL THE RF2 LEAGUES I WAS RACING BECAUSE MY GAME IS TOTALLY UNPLAYABLE. REALLY THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY GAME GOING FROM 60 FPS ULTRA GRAPHICS TO 20 FPS LOWEST SETTINGS. NO EXCUSES, I CLEARED CBASH AND SHADERS AND MY GRAPHIC CARD IS R9 280 WHICH IS 100% READY TO RUN DX12 GAMES SO ITS RIDICULOUS I AM HAVING THIS PERFOMANCE WITH DX11.

Sorry for caps but I am really angry now because I already uninstalled the game and left the leagues I was drving because I can't drive this.

The Nissan GT4 windscreen wipers are in the middle of the window blocking the view. Its really difficult to see anything. Are the wipers really in the right position?
