You are saying a doc isn’t possible for the makers, just relay on second hand opinions?
    What the heck?

    I cannot disagree more.
Updating things is not such a job if you have a base reference to work with. Exactly like the game. They dont have to type the whole code every build.

Or look on and ask on the numerous forums , it’s not too much to ask but there are always solutions to be found . Rf2 didn’t have a handbook , AC , IR ,AMS etc are all the same as well

Clemenca - I am running VR with an i5-4690K [o/c to 4.2GHz], 16 GB RAM with a STRIX GTX 980 Ti and run these settings. I do not know what FPS I get, but is running very smoothly [at the moment!] 20180105082547_1 (2).jpg

Given the raft of changes to rF2, a guide from March 2016 isn't very helpful to new users.

Hopefully better documentation is in the works.

Would be cool to know what the devs consider "Low end Gpu" maybe something like gtx1060 6gb or rx580 8gb?
Today i made some test with 19 Ai (megane trophy)
I have an R9 380 4 gb, and from what i can see in the graph with CTRL-f, it's very difficult to not exceed that 4 gb in 1080. Depending on video setting the amount of vram used (virmem in the graph right?) goes from 3900 to 5100 and the bar on the top left it's full white, i have a single green flash under the white bar on the grid when the race start, so i think no stuttering during the race if the bar dont flash, I need to find the right balance of setting that let me to stay into the 4gb but without having pixelated texture everywhere...I remember a string in the PLR that modify opponent detail without kill texture resolution or something similar..i need to google again
Another strange things is that gputweak show a different memory consuption than the ingame graph..i will put some screen

After some test i understand that virmem it's virtual memory and not Vram ,maybe i have to enlarge the virtual memory on my system? i have it in auto
I thought that when you raise circuit detail, player detail, opponent detail and texture detail you are going to occupy the video ram, but i see that is virtual memory to goes up

rF2 duplicates all VRAM (video memory) into system RAM and virtual RAM. That's why there is huge virtual RAM usage. DX11 apps should be able to allocate video RAM without duplicating to system RAM, so maybe when DX9 is finally deprecated we can see some development on this.

Any ideas on why my GT3 pack and Formula E pack won't update with this build? All other updates downloaded fine. I tried checking file integrity and reports all is updated?
