Something like this I suppose...(before/after)
Would be great to see the same on car body too...
Kicked up dust / sand can be seen in RL racing videos, most often where cars drop a tire onto worn edges of the grass, ends of rumble strips, abrupt transitions with extended pavement, etc. It's quite common, especially where the soil content has more sand and during dry periods but, after low-lying areas (potholes) along the track have dried up.
I'm not saying it's 100% what the developers are going for but, it seems pretty logical and would be a unique touch and great detail imo.
Yes loads of sparks in f1
Exhaust smoke at start too
I thought this was RealRoad for
Yeah I know this, I am guessing they are going to use the same technique for dirt...
Exhaust smoke. Yes. I knew something was missing.
Aaand... smoking flat spots.
Flat spot smoke , yes brill
Little things but add a lot
AMS did the exhaust smoke for their trucks, big blumes of thick black diesel smoke , looked great
Probably just dreaming for rF2 but who know hey
Setting up a familiar circuit on the server today, I have never seen such a pronounced amount of marbles before after 16 laps of 17. New Dust upgrade ?
No. It has to be implentet to all tracks. Your track seems to be an AC rip with a strange realroad.
Time for some coal rolling in rf2
Because the driver is Hamilton, it's the result of his excessive driving.
@ceecee Did you maybe change the RR rate accidentally?
No, still on Naturally Progressing.
We have run this track before, the earlier post of @Andregee is probably the reason.
Looks quite amazing though
Mine looks the same so I think Andregee is on point. Only track where it happens
I did 80 laps around Sebring last night and didnt see anything like that !
Then you were not driving excessively enough
The multiplayer launcher should receive some attention for the next update. It is past the time to not have server details - car and tracks contained in the .rfmod - and to not have a field displaying the number of AIs. No public server with more than 5 people can be trusted and it is a waste of time.
Edit: The latest game update(s) causes crashes upon exit and I seem to have lost FPS as well vs early last week on a private, scratch-build track.
I think the multi player ui being dated issue has been beat to death. S397 are aware, but wasting development time on a feature that will soon be replaced with the new UI is a waste of time money and effort.
My only other response is that studio 397 needs to come out with the new UI as quickly as possible.
