Latest Build Update rFactor 2 - 1.1110 Now Available!

More than a year without plugin overlay, with each update, I hope a good news and once again, nothing!

Guess they're only stabilizing the main features, performance, updating cars, tires, when all this is ready i'm sure they'll go for the next steps...

I'm also waiting for the new UI but i prefer something detailed instead of a rushed ugly, useless UI...

For our information, what is the fix which implies to update the dedicated server? thanks.

I know peopled had some wishes about remove all the text filling the screen when you press CTRL-F to see you framerate. But now when I press CTRL-F I only see the bar in the top left corner. Is there some parameter for this or what?
Press Ctrl+f the first time brings up the FPS / Perf Recording ON
Press 2nd time: FPS / Perf Recording OFF, Bar Graph ON
Press 3rd time: FPS / Perf Recording and Bar Graph both ON
Press 4th time: Both OFF.

I started a Wishlist thread about removing all the on-screen (middle monitor on triples) debug/performance text seeing as the beta stage was "over" and it was butt ugly.
Now with triples it's displayed at the top left corner of the left monitor. It's like the young numbskull wearing a cap backwards, hard to look at and has lost it's effectiveness.
Remember the good ol' days when it was just a nice and simple FPS display like the green box in the picture. :D
The orange lines roughly represent the edges of the monitors.

I still have the trackside armco / wall shadow appear a few car lengths in front of me.

Has anyone notice any problems with Instant reply running in slow motion ? ive tested sebring with Rain and 24AI cars and noticed the instant reply or replay window is slow motion. my FPS is more then fine ranging from 89fps to 140fps (1440P)

i have seen this before when system is low on ram? i have 32GB so definitely not the problem. is this an engine problem due to the size of the track? ive just tried a small track like canada and it worked fine.

Cheers

I have this problem, too. Tested a kart track (s397) wir the skippy and had the slow mo problem, too. Frames are fine, but the purple bar is maxed. That's strange bc replay shouldn't be that physics hungry.
Will test Sebring as soon I am able to download. The problem started about 3 or 4 builds ago with the instant replay slow motion.

Indeed, I have also made benchmark with 780Ti which is close match to GTX 970.

Weather Sunny:
Average framerate : 181.7 FPS
Minimum framerate : 150.7 FPS
Maximum framerate : 206.3 FPS
1% low framerate : 147.9 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 130.5 FPS

Weather, Mostly Cloudy & Rain:
Average framerate : 49.7 FPS
Minimum framerate : 36.5 FPS
Maximum framerate : 67.8 FPS
1% low framerate : 37.0 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 35.8 FPS

As you can see Minimum Framerate is 150,7 FPS when weather is sunny which should bee enough to 60 FPS wet weather racing.
1080Ti should bee 3x more powerful than 780Ti. I make singlescreen benchmark later with 1080Ti and same settings which I used with 780Ti and we find out if that is the case in rF2

I think you should try with more cars. I have raced endurance in iRacing, with up to 60 cars.

The CPU problems for me was solved, but my GPU is gtx970 and i feel the performance could be better. Getting around 30 fps in rain like you said.

I'm going to be disappointed I think :

I thought that dirt would get on the track depending on track exits, thus affecting the grip dynamically ....

It may be something else.
