    ,
Indeed, I have also made benchmark with 780Ti which is close match to GTX 970.
    S397 GT3 at Silverstone, 22 AI , 5 laps
    In-game.jpg

    Video.jpg

    Weather Sunny:
    Average framerate : 181.7 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 150.7 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 206.3 FPS
    1% low framerate : 147.9 FPS
    0.1% low framerate : 130.5 FPS

    Weather, Mostly Cloudy & Rain:
    Average framerate : 49.7 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 36.5 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 67.8 FPS
    1% low framerate : 37.0 FPS
    0.1% low framerate : 35.8 FPS

As you can see Minimum Framerate is 150,7 FPS when weather is sunny which should bee enough to 60 FPS wet weather racing.
1080Ti should bee 3x more powerful than 780Ti. I make singlescreen benchmark later with 1080Ti and same settings which I used with 780Ti and we find out if that is the case in rF2

simply (real) road grip. I´m sure it can be expressed in % somehow

Every part (polygon?) of the track has it's own RR value so you could have 100% rubber on one part and 0% on another.

OK, these are indeed terrible performance data. Both tests were done with latest release in same conditions except sunny/rain and GTX780Ti ?

Right. Like wetness there is an overall Maximum, you can calculate grip average along a theoretical ideal line or average maxima along track distance (hud output), and you can output current for each tire by Plugin Interface.

Yes, latest release in same conditions except sunny/rain and GTX780Ti. However lets keep in the mind that S397 GT3 is poorly optimized and it is probably most FPS hungry mod in rF2.

There are not many performance test results available on the forum. Doing performance tests is a time consuming task too, when done right. And if there are performance data you can't really compare them because they were done with different content or different base systems like single screen, tripple screen, VR.

It would be cool if it is possible for S397 to implement a performance test (or tests) you simply can run easily and the results are immediately sent to S397 too. I don't know how to solve this problem of completely differently performance results otherwise.

Yes you are right @vittorio, different base systems like single screen, tripple screen, VR, which mod and track are used makes it hard to figure out how rF2 is performing.
I made also singlescreen (Res.1920x1080) benchmark with 1080Ti and settings i used in my post # 902.

    Weather Sunny:
    Average framerate : 272.2 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 230.8 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 316.1 FPS
    1% low framerate : 233.6 FPS
    0.1% low framerate : 226.9 FPS

    Weather, Mostly Cloudy & Rain:
    Average framerate : 110.2 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 88.1 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 144.7 FPS
    1% low framerate : 89.4 FPS
    0.1% low framerate : 86.4 FPS

They have this capability using Ctrl + F. Upon hitting the hotkey combo the user only needs to hit the space bar to begin recording data for a set amount of time. The results can then be sent to S397. I dont know if this is done automatically though.

When I made my wet weather bechmark I raced 5 laps in practice with Mostly Cloudy & Rain weather and saved realroad. I qualified in the middle of the grid and raced 5 laps vs 22 AI (12 visible) with realroad I saved in practice to ensure that AI`s don`t pit in first lap and that there is water and spray on the track.

I know peopled had some wishes about remove all the text filling the screen when you press CTRL-F to see you framerate. But now when I press CTRL-F I only see the bar in the top left corner. Is there some parameter for this or what?

Cannot verify it right now, but that explain my problem. I'm running multiview in windowed mode with half the side pictures out of the screen.

More than a year without plugin overlay, with each update, I hope a good news and once again, nothing!
