I guess the rain bug with the bmw was there before!? The wiped area doesn't match to the wiper.
    Thanks guys for the update.

    Thanks for the update !

But how is this good enough ! I saw a post from S397 saying this patch would be VR focused (i own VR) ! What about ALL users ?
How is this 150 dry fps to 50 wet good enough ?

Been so long since I tried rain (vr) as performance was dire

But just tested ( histoics on line rock)

Worked as long as only about 5 AI’s
FPS started to suffer when spray started kicking up over 4 to 5

Can now at least use rain thanks for update

Indeed. I may need to turn quite a few settings down, but it's now possible to race rain in VR!

Perhaps you could upload a fully sorted mod file with notations of what cars and tracks are required so those not comfortable digging through rF2's innards can download a package and get a nice grouping of cars.

Oh it's nowhere near good enough for me to do any racing in the wet. But I'm glad they're working on it, been waiting a while for this.
I don't know how rain can be so taxing even on lowest setting but I'm also not a developer so I'll let the guys how knows this stuff do their thing and hope they figure it out

I haven't found it in the console anywhere but I did find the info.... navigate to your ....server folder/steamapps folder and look for a file called appmanifest_400300.acf....open it with notepad++ (that's what I use) and it will show the buildID

Since the update I get a lot of blank screen showing <loading VR content> while out on track...this never occurred before latest update.

I don't do that at all. I keep track of it in Excel and just go into regular racing weekends. In order to keep the opponents consistency, I add the AI manually or create virtual drivers using the skins posted here or at RD.
Months ago I tried it by creating new series via the MAS tool and it was a mess, ended up with duplicate cars/tracks whenever a resource got updated, etc....
So far this has been the least frustrating way for me. Let's wait and see if the new UI helps on this matter.

Could we have for next release or telemetry change Feedback about the grip level please, similar to wetness? Max. Griplevel, average level of all max. in each track segment, and per wheel average driven over per lap (only telemetry) or simply current wheel grip level
    Thx
