What your pc spec ??
there’s no Info I’m your profile apart from
I have great performance now in VR (Rift) with a GTX980 and i7 4790 4Ghz.
Can run 30 AI cars and not drop below 90FPS with stock content. (Did not try the GT3 cars yet, those used to be unplayable for me with VR).
Even Zandvort I tried with 30 AI USF2000 and did not drop below 90FPS except when there was a big crash in front of me.
I run SS off when I have that many cars on track, and all settings on Medium, except for Track Details I have that on Low.
On other tracks I could go much higher with the settings because there is enough headroom left but it looks like that for me.
16gb DDR 4 ram
Intel i7 7700k OC'd 4.6ghz
Game running off SSD
Have a look into your Controller.JSON and make sure "Use thread" is enabled (true). Maybe your FFB is blocking the physics thread.
Dont think it's laser scanned tho but it runs pretty well in VR on my rig .
Where can i find that Baku download,I have one but there’s no trackside objects just annoying fences
This is a private track for league. You will not find it freely available.
Thank you! I'll check this out now.
I joined a lobby on the weekend and it downloaded a Baku track , mustn't be the same one then i guess ??
Sorry but can you send a link for that track? Simply cannot find a decent version of Baku anywhere...
I joined a lobby and used the rF2 Auto download i didnt search the net for it so I cant provide a link .
That track is private and should not be shared. It is for private use of RaceRfactor members.
Edit: Just to clarify, I mean exclusively the track that it's seen in the video. There are others versions of Baku that have nothing to do with RaceRfactor and that are not our business, of course.
You say the McLaren M23 is coming, the car that defeated Niki Lauda by 1 point, but the car you show is the 75' car, Hunt won the title in 76', unless your releasing the 75' & 76' M23 ?
The M23 was used between 73 and 78. So it could be any of them.
F1 teams would use the same car with updates for years.
There could be a bit of debate about which chassis they've built: its highly possible they built a 'representative hybrid' of the chassis at the time.
The first 4 M23s had a particular shape of airbox I'll call "the swan", which doesn't match what we have seen on the screenshots. These were built in 1973. A taller airbox was used for 74 up to chassis number 8. Chassis 9 was built for 1975 and Chassis 10 (called 8-2) was used a lot in 75 and 76 seasons too. They also seem to have gone back and updated Chassis 6, which also shared the T-style airbox. Also, the earlier chassis didn't have the X-brace on the front bulkhead area. They began to try to transition to the M26 over the next couple of years but this didn't go so well, so they built up a couple more M23s from 1977 and also sold one. So it could be Chassis 6, 8, 9, 8-2. Though 8 wasn't raced in 1976.
Sure would be nice if we could get 'upgrades' to run any of these specific cars with the different airboxes and such. That would be cool.
Thank you for the tip. I don't know what was happening, I kept checking the files integrity and it eventually got fixed. Thanks!
Thank you! Looks like it solved my problem! I will continue to test.
Does this edit apply to JUST the controller.json or my other json's for my TM TS-PC Wheel as well?
Well Mr Elliott, that had an impact....
I think the controller.json is the one the game uses, and when you load a profile in the game it replaces the controller.json. I would even suspect that changing one of the predefined ones will lead to be it being redownloaded if you verify files.
So just editing the controller.json is all you need.
Disclaimer: I never load profiles, so I'm not 100% sure.
