I hope I can explain properly what I'm trying to say... Here goes :

On my old Logitech wheel, using the profiler software I was able to, for example map pressing "F" 4 times to one button press on my wheel.

Is something like this possible as well on Thrustmaster wheels?

    Thanks :)

I don't know, but you could assign any key to trigger anything that's available in rF2.
Why the need for a detour ?

Well with my old wheel I used this way to simulate the lights "flashing" as used in endurance racing. I had one button mapped in-game to the headlights, and another button to basically press the headlights button multiple times, but with a single press.

That's really funny, I never thought about that ... :)

Maybe, because manually pushing the head light or horn buttons a couple of times, kind of grants me some relief from the pressure.

    :D
