Since the last build I been having many keyboard issues with rF2. some times some of the keys just don't work inside rF2... but are perfectly fine in windows or other apps... other times works perfectly fine. I just can't figure it out... to fix it I usually need to restart rF2. (never seen this issue before this build). I'm still able to ESC but most other keys are just not detected!!! I'm running W10 64bit...
thanks tried that but no luck ... Now it doesn't work period... The only key that works is enter and esc... as if I lose all mappings and when I attempt to remap its as if I'm no pressing anything. Today on online race I couldn't chat due to keyboard issues. Very frustrating. Is there some thing I can reset... Pre-steam I would have deleted the whole thing... now I have no clue on what to do...
Try verifying the install on steam. Games... right click... properties...local files... verify integrity of game files.
thanks guys that didn't work but steam did had to re-download 3 files. I already made sure the system power mode doesn't turn off the USB. Also made sure all devices "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is not enabled. (I'm typing this while running rF2 in borderless / window mode) yet in rF2 I cant type...). Keyboard works fin in AC
System - Win 10 - 64bit Kaspersky AV I don't run any keyloggers that I know of. (how do I scan for that?) I deleted the whole controller folder in rF2 and or now it appears to work. (Strange the KB issue has been on and off since the last update).
