Karts 0.991 and Quebec SuperKarts 1.07 track available

A little update - Ive reinstall all rfactor 2 (mine and on the server) installed mods etc. Now mod is installed but join button is still greyed out. Any idea?

Last night I tried to join some servers but buttons were grey.
I went out of game and when I rejoined it was ok and I could get mod.
Maybe gray button pb has not been entirely solved.
Not entirely, no, there's a couple of occasional causes usually fixed by selecting another then selecting the one you want, but those hosting their own servers one wonders if they have getmod enabled and/or shared the rfmod.

Much more force feedback is required with this mod. Whenever I have been karting in real life my forearms kill me for 2 weeks afterwards. Can ISI multiply the ffb for this mod by default to something like x10?

Where can I find the new kart speedmeter and kart status icon? Cant find them in the UI

You have to buy a new wheel for that (assuming you use Logitech). Logitech wheels have weak FFB motors on today's standards. If you add more FFB in-game it will only result in constant clipping of forces.

Some of those tyres on the apexes are very frustrating, especially on the chicane, they're just a foot too close to the kerbs, sometimes my sidepod will clip them if I'm driving aggressively on them.
Otherwise, it's a really great addition. Relatively accurate physics for what seems to be a junior Rotax kart. Only two grips - the rear bumper, mainly because in the UK they have metal rears, and the plastic ones scream to me arrive and drive karts :p. The other is just the marbles, and how close proximity they are to the racing line. I can't say I've ever had an issue driving a wide line because of marbles in real life, but on this track it's nearly impossible not to slide around on them once its fully rubbered in.

I just had a guy round to try out the karts who works with them for a living. He sets them up and gives tuition. Initially I was a bit worried as he could barely keep it on the track. One by one we worked through everything that felt wrong, then I showed him the garage settings. He told me how he sets his karts up. And as we worked through each setting I could see him becoming more and more interested. Once we set it the way he would, and adjusted the brake and accelerator sensitivity, and upped the ffb to levels that will only allow you to play for about 15 minutes before the lactic acid kicks in! He was then able to drive it and was begging for a circuit he knew. He doesn't own a pc or a console. I asked him, is this a game or a simulator? He says it is very much a simulator, and will be coming around again. :)

Does anyone know whether anyone is converting or doing Buckmore Park. The one Niels was doing the talk and drive in a honda NSX?

Buckmore's a great track, one of the best in the UK imo. Saying that, I never won there back when I was racing :(. I think Rowrah (my local), or PFI would be great too.

Yes he asked for Buckmore, PFI, Kimbolton, Rowrah, Shennsomething. Also Genk (belgium) and Garda (Italy). Would all be places he had set up karts for rich kids at.
