Man.... Oh man.....
Dynamic temperatures alone might completely refresh rF2 experience. It was already the most dynamic sim out there, but with this it is going to be next level, surely I think it is rightfully being called Realroad 2.0.
Can't wait to test it out thoroughly. The most interesting part to me was that RR will react to shadows. This means that it should be doable to also tie it to drying, perhaps in Real Road 3.0 haha.
Apart wet weather, wet road. It will be really interesting to try low ambient temperatures. Should provide very interesting different experiences. Also technically it should make different tire compounds a real decision which to use. As track surface will be quite hotter than it used to be, in most of the times. Especially in shorter tracks, where cars drive through same piece of real road more frequently - thus putting more heat into it.
Please remind me, till now fixed surface temp used to be 25degs of Celsius ? I don't remember. Thats relatively low temp. assuming on average that would be ambient temp of races around the world, but then the tarmac would get quite hotter due to sun and heat transferred from racecars tires. Perhaps it really was not that outstanding that softest compounds forever worked well if they just were durable enough.
