Joining the race

Possibility to join the race at every stage. Because every time when I go to the server is the race and I have to wait for the next which is annoying.
Something like in LFS.
 
I can think of Pro's and cons..... So it should in my opinion at least be a server option to enable or disable it.

I was mainly thinking about possible wreckers. If they join a race they can easily ruin a race. And how would it handle retiring. Crash, leave server, rejoin, and possible ruin the race too. Especially 'handy' in revenge situations.....

So it should be an option in game. Then the admin should decide whether you can often attach themselves to the race.
