Hello sim racers, The latest rFactor 2 Release Candidate has been released! Full changes can be found on the link below: https://www.studio-397.com/2023/02/release-candidate-update-2-now-available/ Happy racing!
As long as the caster is not adjustable and the extremely noticeable reduction of the FFB force cannot be controlled, I will avoid this simulation. Too bad.
Because of a GT 3 vehicle where that would be necessary, because you would also drive exactly this one car absolutely and none else. Yes that makes sense
just tried the new release and sorry to say you have wrecked the game for me (i play use a controller ) and before this update it was great now it plays like automobilista 2 and that is not a good thing please what ever you have changed on the controller side change it back rfactor 2 was my favorite sim before this update.
pAUL.... sigh ... Paul... you guys STILL haven't addressed the shade of blue issue that has been around since the shade of blue issue originated. Just think how many more users rF2 would attract if they all knew they didn't have to worry about sleepness nights due to the shade of blue issue. C'mon man..... /s (just learned this)
thanks yes thats what i have done but the graphics i think looked better in the beta builds and the content management was improved i think.
I have tried the RC and noticed that log files are not saved. I tried to check my lap times with LogAnalyzer and after refreshing there was no new lap times. After leaving the RC log files are saved again
Hi, for me I couldn't rewind replay after entering photo mode and getting back (with [ESC]). Basically it stays at LIVE coverage then. I could reproduce the issue. I'm wondering about hybrid related settings are greyed out in setup screen with a BTCC 2022 BMW.
The last RC appears to have broken LogAnalyzer. The log files are missing the entire section for driver reports, so all LogAnal reports are empty. I didn't see anything in the description about fixing log files, so this may still be "broken." I haven't had a chance to check this update, however.
Until new RC driving with controller was a dream. Now it´s broken. Remove this "smart" filter , no one has asked for anything like that in RF2.
its hard to explain before it was nice and light and responsive and you could tell when you were about to lose grip now it feels slow heavy and sluggish but at the same time very skittish and when you straighten up it over corrects jumps it feels like the tires are jumping from one contact point to the next instead how it was before which was smooth. hope this makes sense. is there anyway to have the old controller setting with the beta ? i play with steering and braking assist off
This doesn´t sound strange. It describes how it feels now. Plus you can see how there is some kind of auto correction, the steering wheel sometimes countersteers without touching the pad. And that´s with all helpers off.
