Released January RC Update #1

hopefully someone in dev team thought to use different versions of configdxd11 file like a configdx11_VR. as the settings used between the two can be wildly different in terms of resolutions, refresh rates, aliasing etc. Running full toss triple screens with VR will blow up most computers..

edit: just checked. no.. no they didn't.. still only my manual files I have to switch between in the folders. This is not that hard to think through I would have thought..

I did think about it, I didn't have time to do anything about it though, sorry.
 
This post was about the AI not getting stuck when the faster AI was planning on pitting. I had to completely re-write it. Originally, in practice, I saw a car still get stuck. But in an offline AI race, I saw two examples of faster cars, on their In-Lap for fuel, pass slower cars that would have trapped them in the past.

This behaviour only changed in race sessions, I deemed it risky to change it in other sessions when they may destroy other cars hot laps.
 
Ok so there are some AI fixes after all (wasn't clear last week & when I asked on discord), thanks for those, still waiting on the Slipstreaming issue to be fixed though as that was(/is) a complete race killer on Le Mans.
 
Thanks devs, for the fuel calculations update. I tested it yesterday, & it’s a huge improvement, & step in the right direction. Really happy it was quickly implemented into this RC

I did see that as well, the race winner, on his cool down lap, caught up to a GTE car that was on it's last lap and stayed behind him for the rest of the lap.

Some tracks need a little review for the AI pit entrance as well, like Zandvoort for example, AI sticks in the outside (fast line)on the exit of the last corner and then across the track to pit, it should go for the inside line of the corner to prevent that.
 
I can't change the hud when inside the session. It changes in the UI but not in the car. If I exit the session and start again then it changes.

Also, we need some selection preview to make it easier to select the hud. There are hud mods with dozens of variants with meaningless names and it's hard to decide which one I want to use. Please, think about it for another RC.

Is this "ghosting" due to RC, AMD driver problems or me using wrong settings?
Its an AMD 6800 XT on v. 22.5.1 driver.
Its not affected by AMD Sharpning/anti lag, tried with both on/off.
