Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year to all. Cheers for the update Scott, Stay safe all, enjoy the holidays and return to us in 2012
Please don't try to tell me what kind of a person I am. You know nothing about me, my personality and how often I'm happy. Understood?
Completely unproductive, gentlemen--enough please. Olivier, everyone is entitled to their opinion--while thuGG is being critical of what he's reading he's not being rude about expressing it, so I have no problem with his point of view... Cheers...
I downloaded the files. I'm already looking forward how to add handling of the content is. Thank you and happy holidays
Sorry for the dumb question but I can't find an answer. Does the open Beta contain the new weather and track features or will that only come with the full release? I'm sure they will be included right. Have I just answered my own question? I guess I kinda have...Why am I still typing? What the hell is wrong with me... Only had a couple after work sheesh Merry Christmas
Can you tell us anything about night time lighting of tracks that has changed over RF1? e: i mean improvements or such
Full weather implementation is not quite complete yet--it's probably the next big thing on the list to finish up for the upcoming GT's. But yes, the current mods and upcoming open beta support what we have thus far. Likewise, the new dynamic track surface features as in there as well. Night lighting has been updated (you can now have more night lights overall, etc), but again, we're not at a final incarnation of the system yet... HDR does add a more intense feeling to night time environments, too. The darkness seems heavier, if that makes sense?
Heavy darkness is my favorite kind of darkness. Even though you guys aren't done with the list of things you want to add, what I've heard so far sounds wonderful. I've worked on computers for almost thirty years so I know most things don't go as planned, but, to me, this sounds like it will be a great achievement in race sims. iRacing has been fun but having to keep paying annoys me. What annoys me even more is when I stop paying for it (like now) I don't have a damn thing to show for all that money I've wasted.
