Since the update to 1112, whenever I join my local server, I get a message saying "Waiting for Server". I've never had this issue before and tried several mod and track combos without any result. I can drive around find but I can't see any AI that have joined and none of the track items seems to load right (weather, the pit guy who sends you out of you box, all static). I dug around and changed the IP in Multiplayer.JSON to be my local machine's IP. Now I can see AI and my server info is updated but it's incredibly laggy. The dedicated server also shows my ping around 300+ and it will jump around. I've never had this issue before. Any ideas why it would start now and if there's some setting that got changed I can switch back? Also, I've tried a complete reinstall to no effect.
Thanks, Mangoletsi. But you can't. Unless you have Killer Shot Pro: That piece of junk was my problem. Had "Advanced Stream Detect" turned on and it was killing the connection for some reason. Ugh...
