   I have been painting for a while but this problem has me dumbfounded. I follow the information on how to save the DDS file but my cars always shine like this.

   Alpha channel. White=Shiny. Black=Not shiny.

   i would more use term white=reflective, black = not reflective, it has no effect on specularity
