It has a road course, oval and road courses i find very fun. Not sure if everyone else has the same views? https://twitter.com/ISITrackTeam/status/662308663017762820
So Palm Springs is Homestead-Miami? Two road course variations and the oval? Good for stock cars and open-wheelers. Architecture and landscaping an almost exact copy...
The road course was never used in race conditions, but they have done road course testing in the past. Found this with a quick Google search. They have probably used it more recently than these articles. http://www.motorsport.com/indycar/n...ck-racing-vasser-homestead-testing-completed/ http://www.motorsport.com/indycar/news/champcar-cart-della-penna-ms-completes-homestead-testing/
Not a track tweet, but may be interesting (hopefully historic car update): Tim Wheatley @twhtly 15h15 hours ago This has been an on and off, mostly off, day. I have a couple of car updates to release, try to get to them tonight/Sat.
Think i remember Tim sayying the GT cars will get the tire updates first and there are only 2 of the GT cars left without it, Nissan 370 and the Camero, so it could be them.
Hmm, I ask for an update of the historic cars and got this response: rFactor2 @rFactor2 Sep 18 @chgxme BT20 was fairly recently, others will come too, and BT20 again for contact patch updates. But the 370 is also ok, I like it. I never drove the Camero. My fav cars are the F2 Eve and Spark
If so, then based on ISI creative naming scheme and general/nearby, but not precise geographic references, it should be called "Tallahassee" when released
For the sake of saying it, not sure about NOLA now. We have to weigh things up there once we get to it's schedule slot.
I will say it will be done eventually either by ISI or a 3PA track. It just takes a lot of time to do them.
