I'd much rather see real life tracks by ISI team than old fantasy tracks resurrected, that's something that modders can do with gJED now. Hopefully NOLA is still happening as it has gone quiet for a few months. Along that some new proper-sized circuit would be nice, Europe or America, which could host any class races.
Lienz, Toban, Essington, and Orchard Lake all updated to full RF2 standards, and of course including all layouts including reverse layouts would be awesome. But even just a quick gJED job would do for me; I just want to drive those circuits regardless of them being fully up to RF2 standards or not.
Usually I would agree but the exception being the - to me, of course - most iconic tracks of rFactor: Lienz (inspired idea), Essington and Toban. Having New Orleans would be great as proper licenses are welcome, and I doubt folks have forgotten the sneak peeks at Watkins Glen from eons back.
Was the Glen ever confirmed? I remember some speculation based on teaser pics but nothing definitive.
NOLA, a Palm Beach clone and track that will likely never see a major race again, versus some of the best fictional tracks in the history of sim racing (e.g., Toban, Essington, Mills, Lienz)...I know where my vote goes. Not that this is even remotely a democracy.
Yeah people should really start embracing ISI's fictional tracks more IMO, instead of scoffing at them. They're without doubt some of the best tracks in any sim or game, so wonderfully designed and provides great racing. I wish some mad billionaire would build those tracks in real life and start his own insane racing series on them.
Have to be honest never drove the base content in rF1, but drove Mills a lot online with the Megane after the first rF2 beta and enjoyed it massively and thought it is a real track. Every layout has its own challanges and I really like the technical aspect of T1 for example. Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk
