Highly unlikely to have Palm Trees around it, but a track that does have trees visible from the track is Pocono, just an outside guess as it's not your normal 'Oval' so it could be something ISI would do.

Someone was working on Kentucky, and it was supposed to be released soon, so that could be it. They probably wouldn't call it Kentucky either, licensing and all, so palm trees could be explained. Though, I get the impression that the banking is super low on this track...lower even than the real Kentucky speedway, but that could just be the ambiguous screenshot angles.

If it isn't the Kentucky track: there's a possible 'clue' about the braking (a short track, hard on brakes?), primitive lighting (or no lighting at the real track it's based on, just a guess though), and possibly very low banking in the turns. Maybe a fantasy take on Martinsville?

Nice suggestion, but nope. A little googling shows that it had lights outside the track and no palm trees. Track is demolished now.

I'm leaning towards Irwindale clone (where's the cement plant?) or revamped Joesville. Irwindale has the lights inside the track and does have palm trees.

Assuming the line on the track is the start/finish, it looks to be a 4/10 or 1/2 mile in size. A fictional USA International or very similar track seems right

Haha thanks Jamie but it's likely not modeled after USA int. Banking on the straights does not match. That infield shot made me think of it for some reason.

Having looked at rF1 tracks I have to say I like Tosch's guess of Eagle Creek! So many tracks I didn't know/care about back in the day... so I need research before getting in that guessing game :p.

I'm guessing everything is being kept together for one massive release, or to be out alongside the Steam launch.

Start your research by extracting the Stock Car mod and check the svm files (Ai setup files). :D

Another interesting source of information is the "TrackConfigsBase.ini". The car configurations for all known and unknown Stock Car tracks are included. All a track modder has to do is to pick the right name for his track. Clever move by ISI. ;)

The guessing games is fun to watch here!
Should be interesting to see which one of you gets it right!!!!

The track Team should start doing a contest on what the next secret track is and reward the first on the get it right.
The reward could be something like a rF2 T-Shirt or Hat. Would be kind of a fun thing to do. :)

    Some say it's an oval.
    Some say it's a triangle.
All we know, it's called "eedway".

I don't suppose fictional track would be "infamous" :)

    One oval?

If you're not racing at proper competitive level, then ovals may not be very interesting. On the other hand, if you do learn to drive ovals properly, it's tons of fun and even small differences count.
I have introduced many simracers to oval racing and most of them loved it.

But like I said - it has to be on decent competitive level - this is where the thrill of oval racing starts.
