Pitlane speed are not static. They change per car/series so...we can't really put that number on the static loader. :)

May i ask, why a static loader? These days should be a dynamic Loader possible. The Track Builder just leaves one Pic about the Track and the Loader fills in all Informations from the GDB File.

This is just a different loader scheme, more resolution, 16/9 instead 4/3 and with modern graphics to follow the main UI theme. AFAIK nobody said we're gonna dynamic with loaders...so I really don't have an answer to your question. :)

Although not immediately intuitive, every SW function point adds cost, complexity, unforeseen dependencies, chance for bugs and integration overhead for documentation, testing and support, etc. Nice to haves are often not a good idea, especially in already buggy software.

I certainly don't need it in the loader, but I have asked since the beginning of rF1 that it remain on the screen the whole time you are in the pits and come on immediately as soon as you enter any sort of pit lane entrance (i.e., the moment you leave the regular track, not just ahead of the actual speed limit line/area). That should be easy enough to do.

I find amazing how every single time we release just a shot...someone starts asking about something else, about something more, something different. :)

BTW I was not replying to you, I've no idea about your previous request sorry. :)

And while they're at it, why not add computer-controlled pit stops for those people who want it :) What I do is keep a piece of paper next to my rig, and write it down at the beginning of the session. For me, it actually adds to the immersion by adding one more responsibility for the driver.

I was under the impression that pit speeds were static for everything, obviously not. Continue ISI!

Most of the problem would be solved with a published list of which of the dozens of serious requests over many years are actually being worked on or planned for some point in the development path. Since there is no information or feedback process, people repeatedly use every (inappropriate) opportunity to make their suggestions, to the annoyance of all ;)

For those who want reminder of the pit lane speed limit. I just map the "message history" or "chat history" (can't remember it's exact name) function to a button on my wheel.

I get a 'plugins active' message that comes up as soon as I enter the car. That's when I get the pit speed limit info.
