That is looking proper nice. I very much look forward to these standards going forward! And backwards too .
Treelines does look good indeed. I just can't understand why ISI fell back to that fugly rF1-style tarmac textures. Looks like Mores will keep it's top position as more "together" art assets between ISI tracks.
My very first thought, when i saw it on Twitter was "Why do they show a photo?" (no joke!). Color saturation and brightness is very good IMO. The differnt tints of the forest is a great improvement compared to Lime Rock for example. Same for the grass and gravel. Still a bit of room for improvement left, when i look at the tarmac texture (pretty steady, stripes).
ahah! yeah mate, it is an aerial shot. Remember this is a VERY young track, with "fresh" tarmac and with that typical US bright asphalt look, under direct sun. Stripes are glue/bitumen they used to weld the 3 pave pass. There are few patches here and there still missing.. and they'll be there for the final, but don't expect an aged tarmac like Mores or similar. As usual we try to make things as they are at the time of the survey, given the "limit" of our dynamic RealRoad (no static groove etc..), adding further bits while driving.
Just realized, my post could be somewhat misleading. In fact, i never saw tarmac looking this way. But you really nailed it, just give us the track with fresh tarmac and nice fresh painted curbs. It's our job to make it look very old then.
I am a little late to the commenting party but the atmosphere brought to the track by the landscape is fantastic. I am excited to follow the progress on this circuit.
It is a really nice track. At least three places on the longer config that will catch you out regularly no matter how many laps you do.
not wanting or being able to use a monitor & looking forward to when VR's work with rf2 but waiting isn't a great situation
Are you guys gonna do the kart track, too? Would be a nice addition and I could practice for when I finally decide to head down there.
That is great news! I'll be surprised if AMP doesn't quickly become my favourite track for both cars and karts. And the go-to track for testing new cars.
