If you're not online, then coaching opportunities are minimal and a beginner doesn't know what a beginner needs to learn. ISI servers as an entry point is good for increasing online numbers.

    Nice bit of elitism there.

Instead of that, perhaps we should focus on how to get more people unto the servers, no?

I thought that I could also state my opinion as everyone else can right? My answer to you is not to any price. There are other reasons then lack of aids why the servers are empty my friend.
Damage is done enjoy the show.:D

Nobody is saying you cant state your opinion. But you can state your opinion without calling people Muppets.

Maybe change races to timed sessions for consistency.

10 laps at Monte Carlo , Italy Longford is fine.

But Italy10K @30 minutes and Belgium @40 minutes is a bit much for rookies I feel.

I think 20 minute races are the sweet spot for open rooms.

I agree, timed races would be better.
40 mins. at Spa is quite a mouthful, especially for newcomers.

BTW the notion that allowing driving aids will somehow lower the quality of drivers joining the servers is very silly.
The main focus here should be to get more drivers to join, not make elitist statements about how noobish driving aids is. That helps absolutely no one.
WhiteShadow, I never said you couldn't share your opinion, but like others have pointed out, in this context your opinion is hardly useful, and very counter productive IMO.

While I can easily follow D's thinking about rookies learning to drive without aids from the get go, some people will just need a bit of aid to make the dive into rF2 online.
I did too when I started out 2.5 years ago, I couldn't control the brakes at all, so a bit of anti lock did wonders for my confidence.
After 3 or 4 races without incidents I felt like turning the braking aid off, and never looked back. Often that's all it takes.
