Isi servers .. Finally well done

I have wrote to Stevo from Live Racers.

This version I believe, the join button will not work.
It works great with any other ISI game, but for RF2, you must use the launcher GUI.

I think it just needs another dll file added to the install to initiate the game.

Will update as soon as we get it figured out.

I dont think Liveracers is developed by ISI and I'm guessing Join functionality is not supported by rFactor yet. The liveracers dash is pretty good, I have been using it on ~ISR Servers for a while now, my only wish is that you should be able to view best laptimes per car per track and not have to wait for the server to cycle round.

OK I will mention it to Stevo, No Live Racers is not a development of ISI

I helped them test when they first started, He has come a long way....

I am going to send you a e-mail with what we are seeing with the servers.. Not much just a couple of thoughts

Although I'm unable to use rf2 at the moment, that live timing looks very impressive, works on ipad too!

Good idea !

( hoping next rf2 build noticeably a good one O-: )

Great :) I think this could contribute to more online racers. Forum users can see the servers here, and how many players, and can easily join by one click (at least if/when the join button works) :D

But I think most of us agree that the race format is not perfect though... But I think this is not the correct thread for that discussion. We want shorter races, shorter quali (unlimited laps), shorter practice or no practice at all.

you can always call a vote to go to the next session :) but yeah, 1 hour or so practice is usually too long in these public server where most will search for fast fun. (though I agree that practice will lead for more fun eventually but all don't have time to practice. If I would have only little time in my use then I would prefer straight race over practice)

I specified 20mins pre-race, so hopefully they'll eventually be setup that way. The race times should be not too short, not too long, but perhaps that can vary. The Special server is full length, with the idea being for you guys to make a post and arrange to join at a particular time or something, so take that into account. :)
