ISI rTrainer in custom style, and Joesville Speedway (rfmod, 1 click install)

I have had a request to make some races with the rtrainer from ISI's developer mode. Now there are several downloads available, however none was a 1 click install. As I trie to keep things as simple as possible, I decided to make a whole new compilation. As it's available now, I might as well post it here also.
So to make it clear, this is NOT a new car. It's 100% rTrainer from developer mode.

I redid the 2 skins, and made some new icons for it. As I wanted it all to be in a 1 click install, I needed a track as well. I did not want to do a vmod where you need ALL tracks around, so I decided to include the Joesville Speedway as well. This one is also not altered, just combined in the download.

Both the car, and the track come in a 1 click install, so a rfmod file. For future online races, vmods can be used. Speedway should be available for online racing though. Still have to test that.

What i would really love to see is a slightly more powerfull version of the rtrainer, so that you have to be carefull not to light up the rear wheels till 3rd gear would be awesome fun!

 

Gemfront seems to have a problem. The other 2 work fine here. Can you try again?

Skins are nothing more then a quick paint job, and smashing 2 logo's on it . It did not had my priority at that moment, as I was asked to pack the F1 Community style as well.

But if people want to make skins, and post or send them to me, I will be happy to repack with new skins . I am just not going to do so myself.

 

I've already contacted the author of the 1991 rHistoric mod about bring his rTrainer liveries to rF2.

Hopefully he will either do it himself, or give someone else permission.

 

Cars are really good! Any chance of editing the file so that it could use more tracks than just joesville? for offline racing i would just use the all cars / tracks thing. doesnt work for online racing though!

 

How do we get the rtrainer into multiplayer?

 

Hmm I see I forgot to post the vmods here.

Will look them up tonight when I get home from work, and update here. You can use the vmod on the server to host an online game.

Track dependencies will include ONLY the tracks which I think are decent enough to use (so tracks with nasty bugs in it will not be available as I do not want to force people to install them )

 

I'm not sure if people run these online or not, but I had a server up at Joesville for a while and not a single sole ever came in. I'm an oval fan, so I love racing these here, but its not fun kickin AI a$$. If anyone races these, or has a server, I'd love to join in.

Also if the links for the mod are still broken, I have put the rfmod file on my divshare account if anyone is still trying to find this.

How do we get the rT onto other tracks than Joesville? Nothing against Jo, but I'd love to run a series here in Oz with these great cars.
