Is there any release date for this Build (1038), or it's just a typo?

Not yet. Not a typo AFAIK, we're past that number internally I think.

Tim, are you (ISI) working on a ERS/KERS-System implementation, to simulate the lately hinted modern (2014/15 season) F1 car properly?
Maybe as part of the already mentioned new/improved drivetrain model? :)

Did anyone had noticed or can reproduce the bug with that version of car when driving with activated auto pit lane (the car will not stop at pit stop) ?

Don't think too many hard core people here use auto pit lane.

But I love the feel of the updated cars. Huge improvement over the prior version. Still feels a little bit too light over the rear wheels (too easy to lose the back end with small throttle inputs), but a big improvement in that regard compared to the prior version, which was so bad (in my opinion) I stopped driving it a long time ago.

I didn't even know we could do auto pitlane. You should do more testing with that on ISI tracks, see if it still happens. If it does then it's something that needs fixing.

Agreed. The tyre still has crowning issues though..

It's the old trickery with the tires, you must run absolute minimum pressure. The camber won't matter too much but now it's geared towards actually running in the -3.9 to -4.5 range.

To be fair, the more 'normal' tyre temps aren't due to the CPM (note: not contact patch model model :p), but the heating and cooling parameters. I'm sure we're among many leagues that used the FISI tyres but tweaked these parameters years ago, to values actually quite close to what they now run. Which makes sense. Some of the other parameters (that aren't superseded) have also moved in similar directions, I think the age of the original tyres (and the state of the game at that point) probably had some influence on the way they turned out.

    But improvement is good :)

*Sorry, for clarity: I was referring to the overall temps that don't skyrocket like they used to. Any patch spread improvements would likely be related to the CPM somewhat.

Nice Gui, can you refresh me on where to drop the unzipped folder, I tried userdata/player/settings but they didn't show? do I have to select in 'tuning ' section ? at work atm so cant try.

The way it's zipped should decompress so it will look like this:
    rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings\ISI_Formula_ISI_2012\each driver

Then in the game you'll have all the new cars, without the need for tuning screen. Let me know if there is still a problem, I may look into packaging as .rfcmp (2k and 4k)
