I know what Opposite Lock is and the intention behind this driving aid, but since the early ISI sims I always wondered if this feature is actually implemented, because I never noticed a difference when turning this driving aid on, even with Steering Help.

Or maybe this is a leftover feature from the older F1-2001 Steering Help method which I only used briefly back then, because it didn't work well.

The only thing this does is makes sure that your current steering lock (including any speed sensitivity or other setting) is enough to point in the direction the car is going. If you already use a large steering lock, it's quite possible that it doesn't need to do anything, so it doesn't.
