One of the better and more interesting posts I've read in this thread. Nice with someone who can actually think an independent thought.
+1 Yes it is nice to have a informative thread that so far hasn't turned into a Pi##ing match.. There is so much Sim Racing talent that that frequent these forums... it is a shame 95% of these post start of great and then go south because of either language barriers or other folks not opening there minds to other options and suggestions.. Yes Dave, I agree with you 100%, although the bimbos in bikinis is nice sometimes . Sim racing is more than graphics, for me its about the challenge and competition always trying to better myself and yes fit and feel. Give me the best physics possible with the worst graphics, what am I 12 years old looking for the best graphics.... Graphics are icing on the cake its how it tastes that matters right? Graphics won't keep me coming back, sh*t I'm on an RBR kick atm I simply can't drag myself away from it and it looks like garbage! The cockpits are hysterical! But we all know that anyway. Sorry for being OT but it seems this thread has crossed that threshold a long time ago....I will go away now
If you race hard enough..and become that good...The animated Bimbo's will follow and show up at the trailer...At least that's the way it looks like it works in real time racing.. Ha Ha.. Now that would be a cool plugin..virtual bimbos on your arm after winning a race... I can't believe I just thought that up... Hmmm A imagination is sometimes a terrible thing to waste.. Dave NRT
Yes sir, a sim looking good definately adds to the immersion, Im 100% positive about it. Many times many people, me included, wished that ISI would go to PCars way of graphics, but, if it couldnt, we would definately prefer staying here than follow bikinis. Bikinis are sweet, but priorites (physics-feel at your palm) first Yes, teribly out of OT but he should have expected this...
MOD WARZ, coming to an arena near you. Interesting article, too bad it was written by an overly dramatic teenager. Anyway, some modders prefer AC, some prefer rF2. Go figure. Race? ha, 95% of the names in this thread I've never seen on a server.
Sad indeed that apparently conclusions are drawn when people aren't seen in public servers, oh well..
totally agree i mean who gives a ****.. theres modders for rf2 and some good ones at that. who cares, AC isnt as good as rf2 imo. They can have all the modders they want, still has crap ai...
It isn't possible for every one to have enough time to race online! I was always an addicted online races and league's racer in the last 8 years, but lately I started a new job and I really don't have enough time to prepare my self to race online! In the last 3 months I can only make some offline session making hot laps.
That's life, things can change and how good not all is about computer and internet. I for myself feel loosing more and more intrest for pc gaming with aging and i don't care about floats of mods which i may will never use to entertain myself where one car and track in rf2 could be enough for a long time, especially with less spare time or intrest to drive every day, and the lower the QA, the lower the intrest.
