Is it possible to edit an encrypted MAS file?

Hi all,
I want to create my own series but the car mod's MAS file keeps saying 'Unknown MAS key'. Is there a way to bypass this?

Technically, it would be possible. We just haven't got an updated tool for that. I believe the last one stopped working many years ago.
