Is all my video ram being used?

I have a HD6970 with 2Gb ram.

The game is only reporting my card as having 720MB ram when I look under 'Video Res' in settings. Is this just a reporting glitch or is it only using that amount of ram?

Might be worth checking for those with performance issues.

 

Yes, I have the same card with the same report, but yes, all video ram is getting used...

 

i have same card by xfx this is what my config says

SystemRAM=3424
VideoRAM=3480


i have 8 gig system ram , i seen on here theres a ram patch to increase the ram rf2 uses but i cant find it ,anyone ? thanks

Are you using 32bit Windows 7? If you are 3.4-4GB dependent on the iteration is all your system has access to and that total includes VRam.

 

no im on 64 bit win 7 pro , also have a xfx 6970 with 2 gigs on it

 

If you hit ctrl + f a couple of times the bar in the top left corner should let you know how much vram you are using. Of my 2gb afterburner has me pegged at 1800mb of usage.
