I've had this issue ever since I started using rFactor 2, and never had any type of way to solve this issue. When searching around, this issue only comes up when it's related to hosting servers, not joining.

I've validated the game files, reloaded the game, and no dice.

Just recently (a few minutes before writing this) I attempted to join the USF2000 Competition server that was running at Lime Rock. Both pieces of content installed, but all I get is a vague "Invalid Server Details" error. Is there any detailed fix or explanation for what causes this at all? It's very frustrating.

Hi, I've opened this thread https://forum.studio-397.com/index....server-details-when-attempting-to-join.70393/ on the same problem I'm getting on the "S397 OPEN USF" (multiplayer, not competition server). It used to work for me, I'm getting the error today, it seems that the server itself is stuck.

I've seen that you brought this up on twitter by replying to the Aug 16 launch of the server https://twitter.com/rFactor2/status/1427310451512201216
They asked to "PM Paul Jeffrey with a trace file from when this happens". I've produced a tracefile, but it seems you can't attach files to PMs ("conversations") on this forum..
