Looking at the items in the workshop, it looks like the tracks had an update. No updates on the karts.

February Roadmap

KartSim
By now, KartSim is a well known name in the karting industry, known for high quality professional karts and tracks. They will be releasing a big update to all of their content. For consumers the next release will include updates to most of the existing karts and tracks with improvements to shaders, models, AI and more. Professional customers can look forward to even more updates as well as some brand new tracks like “Le Mans” and a few others. More details will be revealed when this update is released next week.

Thats not an answer for Marcel, Kartsim is just released for rFactor 2, but its actually https://www.kart-sim.com/ that is responsible for development etc.

Nice new tracks! Has someone an solution for the problem that i can't see in the cockpit view the shadow of the driver body if i clicked in the menu "Arms off"? I see only the shadow of the Kart. If i clicked "Arms on" i can see the body without the head in the shadows. Looks also not so nice.
I have tried different shadow settings.

it seems that only "demo" has been updated, no update for the "pro" version.....the more you pay, the less you have.

Maybe they have updated the Pro Version before they updated the Demo. The Update was only that they updated the exisitng tracks for the Demo. Have you the same bug with the shadow in the Pro Version?

no my pro version update is lower than the demo version.

I am really impressed with the detail that has gone in to kart sim.

One thing that I am finding really different to my real kart though, is the braking. In my kart, I can lock the brakes easily however in kart sim you can really jump on the brakes without locking.

The tyres may be quite different and have more grip but it still feels a bit to grippy under brakes to me.

The hire karts feel spot on though!
