I think they should allow to modify the rental kart setup for free, it's not likely that a casual kart user like me is going to pay 400€ to do so, but the behaviour of the rental kart could made some casual kart users to ask for a refund.

I know it's a green track, but 1.38s? Are you sure?

With the preset medium rubber I'm going sub 1.00 in the X30 and doing 46s at Buckmore

Yes green track Paul fletcher 138 EDIT : 58secs not 138 lol

I’ll try later set on medium track

Need more practice there’s more in it
Need to smooth it out & get use to how they brake more

Only tried the X30 so far will stick to this Kart, happy to stay on Paul fletcher for a few weeks before trying next track

I turn the brake pressure down so the wheels start to lock just before turn in for the corner. Gives me the opportunity to flick it in. Can't really trail brake in a rear braking kart which takes some getting used to as in a V8 Supercar (my 'best' car) it's what you do.

Those hairpins and the final sector are the worst, but that right hander just before the pit lane entrance can be taken faster than you think. I'm not mocking your times, it can be weird if you're so used to other things. I binned the Skippy repeatedly when I drove it so I know that feel!

I'm getting high 59's and neat 1:00 consistently in a race starting from the back, once the field thins. Even when I change the ratio I can't seem to get the times down from there. (Mr Slow :() :D

Just noticed that I had 15% more fuel on board than AI. Oops.

Here is a snap of my Buckmore times in 10 lap race, you can see where the field spread and I started getting more consistent. (good tyre wear)

    That’s a good screenshot jimmy
    Nice & consistent too

    What tool is that ?
Although I don’t like messing around with plugins

    I was using gear 10/79
2 clicks lower front & back
    2 click lower tire pressures
-that’s about it I’ll adjust setup more during testing

Tried only few laps so don't master the track and the setup was a bit twitchy but was still lapping high 57's. Therefore I think big boys are doing 56's if not 55's.

Edit: Ambient temperature was apparently quite high and for track like PFI it might be beneficial.

Not sure but based for my experiences, I wouldn't be surprised if someone will do that. There are mighty fast people out there.

I could be wrong but I don't think the proper mod has the rental kart in it. The pro package isn't just a mod, it's a package aimed at professionals. Gamers shouldn't feel any inclination to buy it, and casual kart users are in that category.

In that case, the locked rental kart makes even less sense.

I think Buckmore Park is the best track currently available. Not sure is it raceable but the layout is pure magic driving wise. 38.5 is my PB.

46-something. Only because I wasn't trying and was just doing it for review purposes.

    Great thanks for feedback

    My Target mid 38’s !

It’s nice to learn & reducing times is best way to feel the best of the physics etc
Hopefully I’ll be able to host soon
