Yes very basic for any pro out there, but yes it is very intresting what all is used in the racing world to support better controle.

 

I wanted to know individual wheels speeds in rF2 but it was too complicated to do, maybe even impossible. Yes in real life they have sensors for that, in sim we only have wheel rotation speed.

 

Should still work about the rpm difference, the more easy when the wheel stops rolling.

 

There are only a couple of circumstances where wheel is not slipping, mix that in with tire circumference changing, it's very difficult.

 

No it isn't. The surface has nothing to do with that. The ABS sensors aren't taking the surface in to account as well. It is impossible. It is just all about the speed of the wheel's.

I think this is currently not funny but intresting.

It should not be hard to simulate 4 corners lights by the wheel speed, for example one might as well capture speed increase as do stability programs and brake the respective wheel, mainly on drive axles.

Software should be more easy than the reality because there are already small helper called aids do exactly the same.

 

Well if you use motec, setup the maths and let me know how you did.
