I'm pretty sure, that you will find every Information that you need, by using Google. But i will also create a pdf or Video Tutorial in the next Week (i guess) and put that on my Website, where it can be downloaded then. In the Meantime, you can use the Update that i have created now, to try it out. Put the rfcmp File into your ..\rFactor 2\Packages Folder and install it inGame on the Content Tab. Here is the Download Link In the Customization Section of the Car, you can select the new Option, to remove the vertical Halo Bar. Hint: everytime, when the original Mod gets updated, this Update has to adapted to it. EDIT This Mod has set the DRS to "deactivated" as default now, so that also the AI can't use it.
Just another Hint: When you edit the original Mod in the Way that @Sim_Player has described above, you damage the Mod for the Multiplayer. So if you plan to drive online, i always would recommend to create an own Update, that can be easily removed from the Installed Folder, to get the original Mod working in Multiplayer again. And if you play offline again, you simply move it back to where it was.

Hi Thanks again for all your help it is very much appreciated. FYI since using your "remove the vertical bar mod" in the formula pro I have been having a great time "trying" to drive it. Gee its hard to control. It feels if you breath on the accelerator out of a slow corner you go for a spin. my answer is very good, especially when someone does not see that when the car is seen from the tv camera it is dry and it is at a different time, but of course the case is to touch the eggs ... troll
