Not sure if it has already been mentioned. On a track race I get no Lights, sound or flag drop on the start grid when starting a race..
Figured I'd provide visual reporting of the clipping - elbow on cockpit sides, hands on front. View attachment 12995
Has anyone tried if it's possibly to modify the Oval package for not steering left by itself? That would be an acceptable compromise for the roadcourse where the AI runs it...
Yes I'm a big fan. It's good for us in England as the races don't start till late in the day It's been better than F1 this season. I would love to start a league in these cars as well
Anyone else using the URD mod (or any other for that matter) notice random AI cars driving really slowly at times around the track? They're on the main straight and other areas and suddenly stop accelerating, happens in 2014 & 2007 layouts and I cant figure out why.....bloody annoying! EDIT: Happens with the Indycars too
Scrap and ignore that, had AI Autocalibrate="3" in the plr and remembered having troubles with that before
If you feel DW12 is too grippy, try this setup. Neutral_Setup_for_Dallara_DW12 You may be able to drive sideways as the following video
A workaround more so than a fix, but here: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/20007-Indy-AI-question-Issue
Is this a possible texture bug on the rear wing? Another car has it upside down but I don't know if in real life it's like that. View attachment 13071
From what I've noticed, every rear wing is upside down in the default skins though on most of them there is nothing back there so it doesn't matter.
is it possible to implement a realistic steering-rack for this car? (would also be beneficial for many other cars) in-game we can only set a constant steering-ratio but the rl car has a variable ratio steering-rack. variable ratio means that the steering is quiet slow in the center but get quicker the you turn the wheel.
the problem is that i cant find the dw12 steering-ratios. there is only one constant ratio setting provided by isi in default setup with corresponding steering-wheel rotation setting but how should i know the min an max ratio to calculate the steering rate correctly? not possible! this imo is crucial for a realistic simulation of the car.
Where did you get the info regarding this nonlinear steering rack? I can't seem to find anything on it, I believe it would be a first for any race car so there should be some info since it's crucial. Have any links?
