    I want to combine two issues of lacking information into one thread.

    1) Lack of available patch notes and changelog history

    For example if I want to see the history of changes to a track or car pack - say I want to know the last time Nordschleife was updated or last time GT3 BOP was changed...the information is either missing or scattered around very unorganized.
    For some time there was (and still is) the #changelogs channel in rF2 discord, but that was really patchy and now the updates are migrated into the #announcements channel, why not keep them separate? It's good the updates are at least fed out there, but there is no place to see the history of the updates per content. Surely you guys have something internally?

    All the Steam Workshop/Store items have a dedicated "Change notes" section which is unused for competition workshops and just invisible for store items.
    There is some information about updates in either new or old threads in the "News & Notifications" section of the forums, but that information is scattered and not concentrated.

    2) Car specifications and other information

    Recently there have been coming these "Spotlight on..." articles, which are great on their own, but really not tied to any element of the sim.
    Remember how in rF1 in car selection there was an "information" tab to see the specs and some details about the car? Sorely missed in rF2 since forever. All these great stories and specs in the Spotlight articles should be tied to the content via ingame UI, also in the workshop/store item descriptions, also in the https://www.studio-397.com/cars-tracks/#cars page and so on.

    A follow-up of the above would be a proper description of the upgrades and features on the cars.
    For example the Indycar IR18 has several suspension geometry options in the upgrades, where is the documentation and explanation for those? Details of how different track configurations affect the physics? Same for several other cars like Stock cars, Tatuus, even the bumpstop stiffness settings on Formula Pro car etc. rF2 Being a simulator, it should simulate the fact that in real life you would have documentation with the cars!
    The only car with documentation for its rear geometry is the Formula Renault 3.5...documented by ISI.

    Don't underestimate the technical needs of your userbase!

    Just filling the mft file that's used by the UI would be a start - sample picked at random
    Code:
    [Component]

    Version=3.00
    Type=2
    Author=Mod Team
