    @Paul Jeffrey
    @Marcel Offermans
    @Christopher Elliott

    My highest wish for the next 6 months of rF2 is twofold :

    1) To improve the tire model enormously, especially with the help of GoodYear and your experience/reviews of the "specialists" of the rF2 community, so that this tire model is at maturity.

    2) Then, transpose this tire model on *ALL* the approximately 55 cars created by S397 in the last 5 years.

    I don't see the point in claiming to have an updated and improved tire model if it only equips about fifteen cars out of the 55 (e.g. GT3, GTE, LMP2s, LMP3, DPI.....).

    The homogeneity of the physics and the quality of your cars is absolutely essential, it is part of the biggest faults of rF2. Besides, that would show your seriousness.

    3) Finally, it would be great if, to accompany this major evolution, the physics engine + the physics of the cars were consequently improved, with revised setups and BOP, with many small adjustments. This is where the majority of human and financial resources should be put in my opinion.

    Love your DLC, but strongly better IMO to do that during some time.

    It is true that dreaming of formidable incredible ultra mega graphics, a sensational and incredible UI, a magnificent and wonderful competition system is better, in any case it seems to be the priorities for 5 years.

    On the other hand, we are talking about a *SIMULATION*, but when it comes to improving the realism of the simulation, there is practically no one left, right ?

    We will see, as far as I am concerned I look forward to seeing the simulations that will be released in the next 3 years, because S397 disappointed me 10 times more than satisfied.

    But shit, it's a simulation, therefore CONTINUOUS improvement of the realism of the game.

    But the UI, the graphics, and the competition system which interests very few people, it's so good, so priority !!!!!!!!

    I will still dream a little.

    I have bought all the rF2 content, but I always use only the few same cars with always the same few tracks...I rarely open rF2, now, I have so much fun with Forza Horizon 5.

    I will come back to rF2, if there is only many Epic improvements :
    - Shadows fix
    - Graphics updated for all the cars (interior PBR)
    - More tracks
    - Dust particles improvement
    - AI fix.

    To be honest, we rF2 users have the game we deserve.

    5 years that a whole handful of people put forward the need to improve the realism of the simulation because yes we are in a simulation.

    5 years that the usual fanboys (we will not quote them) excessively defend S397, as if their life depended on it.

    5 years that users, often quite recent on the game, ask, demand and always want the same thing (sound, graphics, UI, compet system).

    [We could add, even if this is not the precise subject here, that the majority users (100% offline OR mainly offline players) are quite simply despised, and everyone finds that normal.]

    Yeah, great.

    Me that does not make me laugh, "enormously" or not.
    You should mantas support my request, but hey, do what you want.

    (I have said what I had to say in this thread, I will not comment it again.)

    I support it.

    But it doesn't change the fact that word "enormously" and IN 6 MONTHS in context of the situation is just simply comedic. First of all, I don't think rF2 tire model is that bad that it has something to get improved by enormous amount. However, I don't know what do you mean by using this word. Perhaps you consider that anything would be enormous improvements. And I suppose that in context of recent years of rF2 physics core development anything would seem as enormous indeed, because there was nothing.

    And I laugh because it is great way to battle sadness.

    Hey... Actually.... I just realized that you probably call "tire model", just tire parameters of cars..... Yeah, I guess you are right then, having to re-adjust fifty cars would be huge. But possible in six months, perhaps even in two, since many cars are similar, supposing the rest of their physics are right.

    anyway I think rF2 will be on sleep mode for a while, they have just so much trouble with Nascar game, which pretty much forces them to finally deal with physics, AI...

    I want to clarify thet i agree the wish.
    But i agree too what Manta says.
    Taking in account that modifying the tire data (not tire model) is possible that can affect to the contracts with the manufactures, the 6 months term doesn't seems very realistic

    Well, he made the same wishes before, it's normal, but they definetly should update them sooner then later in my opinion too. I've been enjoying the game much more then trying to pick it apart too much and I'm fine with it now, but the new tire logic in some of the cars would make me enjoy RF2 even more.

    I seem to recall, when the DLC cars first began to appear, somebody stated that while the cars share a common tire, each tire had to be customized for each car. That alone would be a months & months long project to re-jigger all of them.
